fun – such diversity in Singapore

Today Akiko joined Carrie and me on our morning journey to Little India and Arab Street. Little India is bustling with people; Arab Street is a little more subdued (thankfully – it would be hard to be busier than Little India!). Here is a picture of Akiko and Carrie in Arab Street (Akiko is ~8 months pregnant):
Carrie and I then ventured off on
our own to the ArtScience center to take in an exhibit of sculptures made
completely out of legos. The artist’s
name is Nathan Sawaya and he is known as the “brick artist”. If you’re ever in
Singapore, or if this guy’s stuff ever comes to your town, you should
definitely check it out. Here’s just a
sample:
